With our STS simulation software, you’ll experience container handling with true realism in a training-focused manner. Whether loading or unloading, on deck or deep in the hold, even hatch cover handling: the training scenarios are designed to cover main operations. A special highlight: the physically accurate rope simulation, which enables safe and effective training with swinging loads.
The simulation features a range of vessel sizes offering a highly authentic environment for mastering the challenges of real-life container handling on an STS crane.
Container operation – ideal training for new operators
Trainees learn to load and unload post-panamax and ultra large container vessels (ULCV) both on deck and in the hold, also practising container placement within the port area and on terminal tractors. Realistic workflows build essential skills for safe and efficient container operations.
Hatch cover handling is also included, trained under lifelike conditions to ensure procedural safety. The simulation features practical exercises, each reflecting real-world challenges.
